We often hear that sewing is a thing for killing time. For Katarzyna Grzelak, it was so true that she spent all her time there. It was no longer a hobby, not a thing, it had become her passion.

In her native Poland, not yet to the taste of the consumer society, she had fun, fell in love, made for her dolls all the clothes whose line was born in her little girl's head.

There is not a piece of curtain, not a piece of tablecloth or napkin that has not escaped its creative scissors. Her first customers, her dolls, had a very sophisticated wardrobe.

This conditioned his life, directed him very early on to studies allowing him to combine a taste for creation with that of the most sophisticated technique for developing evening dresses and wedding dresses in particular.

This area, which favors the meeting of creativity with that of refinement could not be acquired, according to her, anywhere else than in Paris, the city of Haute Couture.

His studies in pattern making and sewing, his internships with Lolita Lempicka and with young designers completed, confirmed him in his desire to pursue a career in this direction.

She has met, in recent years, the opportunity to respond to orders for evening and wedding dresses, thus bringing together her taste for creation combined with a fine psychology in order to highlight the attractions of people entrusting her in some way. their fate for an evening, a day. She sees it as the task of making them elegant and original women, a task expressed in the language of haute couture and perfect expertise.

Passionate about fashion, music, dance and the femininity of the 50s for a long time, she decided to create her own clothing brand. And the whole definition of the brand can be read in its name: Rita - Class, Chic, Glamor, Rock'n Roll,…

Simply “Her name is Rita”.
